Drinking after concussion

so i had a concussion 3 months ago. still dealing with pcs (dizziness, imbalancement) but was wondering if i could drink alcohol now? I am not a heavy drinker so i just meant like a single corona like once every two weeks.

No, at least that's what my neurologist says. no drinking as your brain is still healing and drinking can kill brain cells. They're dying now from the injury, so no need to rush them along!

If you've already got balance and dizziness issues, why make them worse with a beer? Why take the chance of falling and hitting your head again?

Short term enjoyment could mean long-term problems. Why go there?

Welcome to NT.

The answer is simple. Do not drink alcohol. Period.
