Great News Plus Question about RX card
Just found out this morning that I'm 100% approved for medical care at the MS Center, which means I don't have to pay anything for my MRIs and Spinal Tap Monday plus anything else until March 2014!!!!! Woohoo!
My other question is that I got a letter in the mail about saving on prescriptions...the company is called National Prescription Savings Network, and that it can save you up to 75% off your medicines. Has anyone gotten and used these and do they work? |
The best way to find out about a medicine card is to go and talk to a few pharmacies and get their opinions on how the card would work at their store.
I am so happy you get to receive care at the MS Center!! |
Great for you Luke..
|
Congratulations! That is super exciting! :D
(sorry, I know nothing about the RX card...) |
Hey, that's great, Luke! Better than the 90% discount I got at the MS clinic in Mississippi. :)
About Rx cards... Karilann's suggestion is excellent. Check with your favorite pharmacy to see which company they recommend for you. |
Great to hear you will get your care!
As for the Rx card (any many others like it) I suggest caution. A simple google search will help you- here is a article that is pretty good- http://articles.latimes.com/2013/jul...zarus-20130726 My husband made the huge mistake of using a similar card - he saved about 6dollars (not even 10%) and we got bombarded by marketing- junk mail, calls at dinnertime etc are related to the drug he bought. |
Our pharmacist recently advised us that they are pretty worthless. . . just a marketing ploy. Most pharmacies will actually try to get your cost down as much as possible if you ask . . . or at least ours does.
