How do I send a private message to someone
 

I've done it before, but perhaps things have been changed. How do i do this now?

Click on the name of the person if you have a page up. A dropdown will appear and "send a private message" is one choice.

Or go to your user CP area (upper left in upper bar on each page).
Select send PM and then type in the exact name of your recipient. (it can be safer to go to members list first and copy paste the members name into your computer to paste into the send field).

Then fill in the text box and make sure you have a title ...it won't go without a title. Then just hit send.

You can also go to the person's profile page and under their name/profile picture is the option to "send message" which lets you choose a private message or a visitor message (a post on their profile page) If you do not see those options, then they may not have messaging enabled.
