Boulder flooding

Everyone ok? Snoopy, you don't live that far north, do you?

Hi Sparky,

I'm fine :) I live about 40 minutes east of Boulder.

The flooding isn't just in Boulder/Boulder county. It is quite widespread in many parts of the State. The town I live in has also had problems with flooding but nothing that directly impacts were I live. The south Platte River is impacting those in it's path as it flows northeast.

On Thursday I was watching the local news and there was a 16 year old who was walking home from school and he "caught" a fish who was swimming in a residential street in Aurora.

We leave this morning for vacation, heading for Durango. Hopefully the weather is better there :)

Good to hear that you're okay Snoopy. :) Anyone else in the flood area? Check in when you can!

Yes, it certainly is more widespread than just Boulder. I think my cousin in Pinewood Springs has been evacuated.

DS35 lives in Golden, so far he's dry...

That's good, Debbie! My cousin was airlifted yesterday. She figures it will be Spring before they can get back home. :(

my brother and his family live in boulder. they're ok but their basement almost flooded. my brother was able to get a generator in denver and powered his sump pump to save the day.

no power for 3 days. it's all easing up now. i'm not in aurora anymore.
i moved to Fla.
