Has anyone tried this for RSD?

I recently seen this and was told it helped with pain, and is FDA approved. Was wondering if anyone has any experience with this?:Ponder:

I went to the site and this looks very interesting! Very expensive however, I wonder if insurances cover any part of these. I will be anxious to learn more.

Interesting site and claims.....but I'm always wary of these things that look simple (a heat mat) but apparently combine some almost magical special ingredients, claim to help everyone and that also happen to be extremely expensive.....

I know it's cynical of me, but I got sucked in and bought an Infiinity Pro wristband a while ago after somebody mentioned it and I looked at the impressive adverts....no effect whatsoever, but I've been wearing it for 3 months hoping for the advertised benefits!! Boy do I feel like a mug :cool:

If it was something that really worked, it would be worth almost any money.....but I would want to see some impressive proof first!

I am right there with Bram! I tend not to believe any of these miraculous treatments. Seriously...laying on a mat is gonna help my RSD pain?? If that was the case, we would be hearing from everyone on these boards about how wonderful they are, etc. etc. We would all be using them.

I looked at reviews on Amazon on this and they are mixed, some just call it an expensive heating pad. That was my thought of it.

There were some posts on the grounding mats and info, some of those might have related info.

I would look for a place you can test drive it for a few times, unless they have a good clear return policy if it does not help you..

I think some of these things may help, but so much depends on the individual person and such..

I tend to think soft tissue/muscle/myofascial pain would see the most improvements.

The infinity wristbands and similar competitor products are a scam. Some countries have banned their sale and all of their marketing because everything they claim that the products do, is totally unfounded. Other countries have forced them to change their marketing claims. Some stores in the UK have refused to stock the products or have to take them off the shelves because the makers cannot produce any evidence whatsoever to substantiate their outlandish and crazy claims.

If it sounds too good to be true then you can be pretty sure it is.

Amethist has been used for centuries to help with pain but so has amber. I don't trust a lot of things that are so gimicky. I have been thinking of getting an amethyst and amber bracelet to help with pain. I would try that before spending almost $9000 for a heating pad. I have a heating pad that works well. I mean if you want a heating pad you can adjust the temp on go get a reptimat and rheostat lol. Oh wait thats for my python. You could honestly put a rheostat or temp control on a good heating pad and probably get the sam effect.

I always comparison shop online for better deals & check out return policy, before buying anything.

Please, please go to their website or the FDA website and read their FDA approval submission.

You will see what the device is and what it can actually do - not the ridiculous fantasy claims they make on their website. They have merely made an application for an infra red heat source which is based on it being substantially the same as other approved infra red heat lamps or products already on sale. The existing product manufacturers and models are listed. The nonsense about amethyst this and negative ion that is totally excluded from the FDA submission.

This is the same as the Calmare device. One look at the FDA approval destroys all of the fantasy, hype and crazy claims they make.
