Monday Morning Whine Thread
I woke up this morn in not so good of a mood. Probably because,
after all my prayers, begging and complaining, I STILL HAVE MS.. Isn't almost 50 yrs long enough? I want something new, like, just a simple head cold, maybe? OK, I know how dang lucky I am, just to be able to get around.. ..Some can't..:(. And I shouldn't be whining.:o. I wanna go out and play. Waaaaaaaa!! OK, I'm done. Thanks for your time.:D Next...:grouphug: |
but Sally, that's how you met all of us! :p

And a lot of people you know have MS. ***?????
|
Yeah but, you won't come out and play with me.:D
You're whining at my whining instead of whining!! Whatsupwidat?:D |
...and how we met you.
Don't you just hate it when you look in the mirror first thing in the morning and question what or who you are looking at? "Wow...who are you? Oh, well...may as well brush your teeth and wash your face." :D With love, Erika |
Nobody but me is complaining about anything? That's not normal.:D
BTW, I changed the biotch to whine, but our wonderful Monitor didn't catch it. Seriously, I am sooo happy that I met and got to know and love you all, but I promise, that if God cures me, I'll still be back every day to support you.:grouphug: Come on, all together now, whiiiiiiiiiiine!!!!:D |
Hi Sally! Oh I so completely understand .... I feel the same way many a day. Don't dismiss your own feelings simply because some one some where has a worse feeling. While we don't want to wallow (that doesn't help) we need to share our frustrations... esp with one another who have MS. It helps to know someone is listening. any way...I miss being able to go play too! Try to find something fun to entertain yourself with.....even if its old sitcom reruns! or sitting outside in the sun ..... take care. I hope you find some fun time in your day!

Hi Sally
I can certainly whine with you - this week, I spent a few days at the home of my in-laws. They are both in their mid-eighties, and here was I at the ripe old age of 44, nearly passing out from 35 C (95 deg F) weather - AND THEY WERE FINE. I swear I felt like someone had filled my left leg and arm with concrete, I was the kinda numb that hurts and I felt like a total fraud, staggering like a drunk, foggy, and feeling teary and super defensive for no reason at all. Surely if anyone has earned the right to complain or be infirm, it is them - NOT ME!!!!!! |
I understand completely Lyn.. Now that I am in my 70s, even tho
I think, in my head, I'm only 45, I feel I have earned the right to be infirm, if I want to be.:D:p:D Your Summer is coming on, just as our Fall and Winter approach. I'm so sorry for your body being so susceptable in the heat.:(. It's in the 80s again here today, when 60s should be the norm. Feel better and cooler Lyn. |
Aaaaw Sal
Thank you - you are such a wise and wonderful lady  you always make me feel better. Trouble is, unless they have felt it, others don't understand what it is like, and I always feel 'unentitled' to complain when I 'look so good' (not braggin' or nuthin' - just how the saying goes) |
