Phrenic nerve-can't breathe-post lobectomy-thoracotomy

Looking for doctor in NYC or Northern NJ who understands severe breathing problems after upper left lung lobectomy and open thoracotomy. 18 months of pain and countless doctors and tests. Cannot breathe without percocet every 4 hrs. Last pain doc thinks phrenic nerve palsy and diaphragm dyfunction from surgery but can't find a SPECIALIST who really knows this!!
deseperate to breathe. need diagnosis. (initial symptoms sounded just like TOS but they went away)
Help! Anyone
