Ah, that explains it! I was anxious about the leftovers in the back of the fridge, and now they smell funky! :D

Maybe that's what happened with those stupid PopTarts I bought yesterday. I rarely eat junk like that but they were on sale and I hadn't had any for a couple of years. GGGAAAHHHHHH!!!!!! Did they always taste like that? :D Kind of a chemically treated cardboard essence.

That's my recollection from 35-40 years ago. IIRC they tasted slightly better when freshly toasted/warmed. Our theory (at the time) was that heating activated certain chemicals, and you had to eat them fast before the effect wore off. The same theory was later expanded to include many other fast-food items.

Hence, "Eat it quick... before the chemicals die!" :D

Neither really—just poking a little fun at the wording of the headline, with tonge firmly planted in cheek.

Kind of like these: 25 Unintentionally Funny Newspaper Headlines

Then things kind of drifted to memories of days gone by and the cardboard taste of poptarts.... :Dunno:

All in fun. :D

Hi Eva

Every time I go for that walk Eva, I think of you and the people of NT. It is that quiet time to chatter to God. I know he listens.
Have a good day today Eva. May it be peaceful and bring some enjoyment.
I went and saw "Gravity" last night. Good grief, talk about the edge of your seat kind of movie. I think I will keep both feet right on earth. Took the desire to be an astronaut right out of me....ginnie:D:grouphug:
