CRP 0.30 (ref range 0.0-3.0)

My CRP in 2011 was 0.30 (ref range 0.0-3.0). I am worried that this is too high. Should I be concerned, my doc says it's normal and not to worry. I was tested for kindey, liver, ANA, autoimmune test, protein test, celiac disease, colonscopy, ct scan adonominal, cbc, metabolic and all were normal.

I had stress test, ekg, trophin and were normal as well too.

Not sure if I should be tested again. I do smoke marijuana, not sure if this has anything to do with. I also have roscea, ashtma and dermatitis.

Welcome to NeuroTalk:

What I see in your test is that you are in the very low normal range. 0.30 your result is 10 times lower than the high normal of 3.0 )-- that is if you typed everything correctly?

I made a typo on ref range...

Sorry for the typo.. the correct one is CRP 0.30 (ref range 0.0-0.30)

Here is one interpretation:

http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/c...ein-crp?page=2

C-reactive protein may rise, during inflammation. I had a second one done 1/2 way thru a root canal and my reading went from .5 to 1.2.

There is a study showing C-reactive protein will come down when using Vit C.
