After Surgery: Felt Like Died & Higher Plane?

Let me preface this by saying I am not on any medications! haha.

I have had feelings, after surgery, such as feeling like I am floating above - on a higher plane - like life itself is simply made of miniature doll houses that I can move easily. And also, feelings like I died during surgery and never woke up.

I am coming to a conclusion that my life experiences that caused my muscles to tense (being "on guard" as to what people thought of me) and being on edge or trying to please people, ALL LEFT ME WHEN THE MUSCLE + RIB LEFT ME.

My physical therapist did say that we store memories in our muscles. And that when we release these experiences, the muscles will release as well.

This is not a bad feeling. I wonder if instead of feeling like I died, I am in fact feeling the FREEDOM of the new self I have..... the new life self that is not hindered by the weight of that muscle in my shoulders or of the tense experiences thereof. A self that is now free to fly in any direction I wish unhindered by former expectations that I physically stored within which trapped me.

How many weeks are you post-surgery? And, how has your recovery been?
Have the original symptoms resolved?
