All of you have been so nice and helpful, but since I don't get to my Rheumy til December, I am at a loss what to do for pain., the last couple of days it is in my neck, shoulders, wrists and ebows and fingers,I can'teven lift my arm or lay on it,I take 800mg advil, and a vicodin a day I put ice and none of this has touch It and help or suggestions., then then other days it is my knees along with the toes and ankles, I jst am at a loss.

Were none of the articles any help?

Maybe this one—Rheumatoid Arthritis and Exercise.

When my OA gets so bad it creeps up & down my spine causing headaches & worse, my DW can help by massaging where it's worst—gently at first, working up to deeper and moderately vigorous. It helps calm everything down. Don't know if that'll work for RA.
