Pregnancy, Childbirth and Neuromuscular Weakness?

Hello everyone,

I am wondering if anyone with muscle weakness has gone through a pregnancy and childbirth? Also how is parenting with this kind of weakness?

My hormonal fluctuations throughout my own cycle have impacted my weakness, it is more severe in the week prior to menstruation and I have heard this can be the case for women with Myasthenia.

I have no diagnosis as yet but have had intermittent muscle weakness and symptoms of Myasthenia Gravis (Mestinon helps somewhat), although no antibodies so no diagnosis. Another question is late stage Lyme disease but I have no idea, none of the docs can seem to find what's going on.

I'd really appreciate hearing about any experiences with this kind of thing.

Thanks so much

T
