Pregnancy, Childbirth and Autoimmunity, Muscle Weakness?

Hello Ladies,

I am posting this question here as I am hoping there might be some other women out there who have had weakness like mine or other autoimmunity problems and have gone through a pregnancy and childbirth. Here is my post from another page:

I am wondering if anyone with muscle weakness has gone through a pregnancy and childbirth? Also how is parenting with this kind of weakness?

My hormonal fluctuations throughout my own cycle have impacted my weakness, it is more severe in the week prior to menstruation and I have heard this can be the case for women with Myasthenia. I also have endometriosis and have been diagnosed with ME/CFS.

I have no other diagnosis as yet but have had intermittent muscle weakness and symptoms of Myasthenia Gravis (Mestinon helps somewhat), although no antibodies so no diagnosis. Another question is late stage Lyme disease but I have no idea, none of the docs can seem to find what's going on.

I'd really appreciate hearing about any experiences with this kind of thing.

Thanks so much

T
