Hello all
Just wanted to say hi. I am trying to find info about brain injury as I apparently have had a significant issue. While I am a long time Ex-Army guy, motorcycle racer, and thrill seeker with many past injuries, none of them have cause me any issue. Now (at age 50) I have had what I am told is a subdural hematoma (I apologize for the spelling) after many concussions (maybe 15 to 20 but only a portion resulting in loss of conciseness). I dont know how long I was out this time but anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour. This was a supermoto accident done early in the morning.
Dont know what to say or how to think. This is one of the most significant issues in my life as doc's and family say I have to quite riding and racing now. Of issue is that riding and racing are the most important part of my life nrxt to my family. very disturbed and depressed |
