trunkal neuropathy

I haven't been here for awhile, I hope everyone is doing well.

I started a new COPD med and have been having a few more neuropathy symptoms on it. I had additional new one which froze up my GI motility and gave me a what I think was a little genital neuropathy.....shooting pains in vey bad places. I noticed a thread about that some time ago but did not read it and can't find it now.

I am having quite a bit of pain in my chest area and trying to figure out how much is airway issues and if any could be neuropathy or muscle pain. Can anyone tell me what happens when you have neuropathy in the chest, abdomen, etc.?

thanks,
judi

Hi did u have chest p checked out by Dr to rule out heart? That's what Dr will do 1st. Chest pain could also be from costcochrondritis which is inflammation of cartilage between the ribs n sternum.

You can also have various shooting pains from GI gas. Chest,
mid back and lower. Using something like Gas-X OTC and avoiding sodas, and gassy veggies may help if it is gas.

I just had cardiac testing and I am fine but I think I do have some costcochondritis.

It isn't gas, I can feel that its on the outside.

It is probably just muscle soreness, I would like to know the physical mechanism by which those stupid meds make everything hurt worse.

thanks,

So what is this new medication? Perhaps it is to blame?
