Update on lyrica

Tonight is night 3 of taking 100 mg of lyrica. So far so good. Wondering if anyone else has ever started a new med and got relief the first night, it's odd but less pain makes me happy!

absolutely! I hope it continues to work for you. Sometimes a med will work for a while, and then I think your body can become use to the meds and at a later time an adjust might need to be made. Less pain is a most wonderful thing! So happy for you!

I'm so pleased for you! Yes I got relief my first night of just 50mg of Lyrica, which is why I've not upped the dose this time. Long may it last! When I took amitriptyline (first drug I was given for it) it helped within a week, but wore off within three months. So far I've been on this low dose Lyrica for over six months and it's still doing ok :)

Good luck!

Bram.
