UK storm coming in....
 

Hi everyone,

I'm here in England waiting for this massive storm to come in. We're in Gloucestershire, and apparently it's heading right for us - a massive low pressure system, obviously it's completely playing havoc with my CRPS symptoms tonight, particularly my wrist, hand and arm...

Just wanted to wish any other Brits good luck for tonight, particularly if you live in the south like me! Here's hoping its not as bad as they're forecasting!

Sleep might be in short supply tonight as the winds get up and the rain lashes down...

Hey Bram!

I sure hope the storm is not so bad for you. Sorry the pressure is playing havoc on you. Weather where I am is pretty good right now, really cold in the mornings, but I am inside so I am ok with it at this time. I am hoping it stays that way for a while! I am having enough issues with this, I don't need weather changes to aggravate things.

Hope you make it thru ok.

Batten down the hatches! I hope the storm comes in a lot calmer than expected, and only gives you enough rain to sleep well by :)

I slept ok in the end thankfully, and the worst of the storm only missed us by about ten miles! It was pretty bad in lots of areas, so I'm glad we were lucky - my youngest is disappointed though! :D

I live in Chesterfield, Derbyshire and nowt happened here.
By the way I wouldn't call Gloucestershire southern, is it not south midlands?

Lol, we are in the interesting position of being at the top of one region (the south west) and the bottom edge of another (the midlands). According to the met office, Gloucestershire is in the south-west...:winky:

Nowt seems to have happened in a lot of places, for which I'm very glad! The areas that were affected have seen a fair amount of damage. I'm very glad not to have been one of those 220,000 homes without power today!

It seems to have passed us by here in North East Derbyshire. It was sad to hear about the people who lost their lives.
I am rather new to this forum. Have you any idea which section I should be looking at. I have developed a problem with my eyes.
