Breathing

Does anyone else have difficulty breathing thru their nose? I do not have a stuffy nose or anything, I just find it difficult to keep my mouth shut to breathe. I can't explain it, but I just cannot keep my mouth shut to breathe. I try when I find myself breathing thru my mouth, I shut my mouth and I close it then within minutes I find my myself mouth breathing again and close my mouth and then it starts all over again. Its never ending. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it an MS thing? Its been a problem for me for the last at least 6 months or so. Kind of a weird thing to go to my doctor with.

You could possible have a nasal infection with swollen membranes?
See your Doc. to make certain. I get that feeling sometimes and
use a sinus nasal spray, especially at night.

Hope you get to the bottom of it soon..

sally has a good suggestion about the nasal spray. my drs have recommended it to me also. it's OTC and not expensive. you may find it helps.

the next time you're at the dr's just mention it then.

My neuro gave me a script for ceramist. I used it at night when my allergies kicked in. Works great.
Also said to use saline spray to dry out swelling in nasal passages.

If that doesn't work, see an ENT...

Maybe try BreatheRight nasal strips? They are non-medicated small rigid bandages that gently pull your nose open.
