Perhaps there is something to this? Article I read the person was in a T-bone car accident and hornome therapy got rid of her stutter. I'm going to call and find out how expensive it is to get testing done and will report back if I follow through with it.

*update* just called and it's $400 for testing, $400 for initial consult, $300 for future appt and that doesn't include any medication. I wasted $500 on chiropractic and determined it was a scam. I spent $700 on neuron-opthamologist and it saved my life. I've hit a peak and would like to see if I can have a better quality of life. Unfortunately I can't afford 2K+ to see if there is actually something to this hormone therapy.

I've been posting a lot about my own experience with neuroendocrine dysfunction that was caused by the concussion I sustained.

There are a LOT more articles than just these about the subject - it's one that's being researched quite a bit right now because of the vets returning from war/conflict and the athletes with concussion-related issues.

After almost three years I paid out of pocket to see a specialist and then I paid out of pocket to get some testing done. It was expensive. But it proved that I suffer from neuroendocrine dysfunction.

My Quality of Life has gotten so much better that it has made the upfront costs well worth the expense! I'm very happy and excited to finally be getting my life back!

I was turned away by three other endocrinologists.

It takes a special endo with experience and knowledge in this area of the subject to be able to test and treat this kind of dysfunction properly.

I recommend anyone interested in this kind of treatment go see an endocrinologist with experience post haste. You may have luck finding one on the Pituitary Network Association website.
