Thank you all you "WONDERFUL" friend's! (You all feel like my family):D Well, I had my third and last ganglion nerve block done at 10:00 A.M. this morning. I am numb in my neck(the right side) and my shoulder is completely numb! also the right side of my face.(it is 8:40 P.M. and I am still numb!!) I never had this numb feeling with the other two blocks!! is this normal?? anyway, my wrist and hand are still hurting!!>(where I had the CT surgery done, in Jan.)wonder why that didn't get numb?? He did NOT up my neurotin!! I askd him why?? he said he will see me in his office in June?? hmm.......?? I have the discharge papers somewhere??I am still a little groggy when he gave me 2 1mg. of xanax. :) Vanessa, I did get you pm and thank you so very, very much!! I love each and everyone of you for thinking and praying for me. Love, Desi:grouphug:

That sounds weird? I don't know - one of the others will no doubt tell you whether this is normal or not (I had only one block). Is it supposed to kick in straight away? (I was totally out of it when I had mine so have no idea - the PM dr was abit anti explaining things to patients anyway).

I really hope you get some relief soon!!

OMG! i just read your post after i posted about my 3rd block. my shoulder isn't feeling as numb as it did the 1st 2 times i had a block. too weird!!!!!!! i hope you are feeling better soon...
