Proteolytic Enzymes - Serrapeptase
 

Anyone know about this?
Supposedly helps heal aches and sports injuries.

Also a post-op. treatment,
as well as for back pains,
and promotes circulatory health.

Used in Europe & Asia, made from the
digestive tracts of silkworms (?!?)

I've a chronic neck pain on the right side,
that seems to ebb & flow as the day wears on
(its the proverbial 'crick' in the neck)
..... as well as lower back aches,
(doesn't just about everybody?)
& this was suggested.

Bob, I think it works like an inflammatory drug, sorry thats all i know.
I also have a chronic neck problem [right side] that is tremendously helped with strong magnets, mine seems to go across from the C5/C6/C7 to under my shoulder blade and thats were i put the magnets.

Mine feels like I was Judo chopped on my right side of the neck and pains me from the back of my right jaw to the clavicle.
Feels like tight muscles, banded steel.
Stretching and rotating my neck & shoulders as well as slowly extending my neck & turning my head (like looking back while driving) seems to work it out some.
But in the a.m. its a 6 or 7 and dulls down to a 2-3 for the rest of the day (dunno if its the Tramadol or the stretching).
I've got enough pains, wish I could get rid of this one.

I took a shot at searching Serrapeptase through a couple of databases that I can access. I found ~60 references but everything is in Chinese or Japanese language journals, patents, and a couple of short reviews. Nothing that I recognized nor did I see any English translations. I'll keep my eyes open - sorry I couldn't be more help.
Hope you get some lasting relief from your neck pain soon.
