hi, i'm an idiot and i don't know how do navigate my way around in the chatroom! but i did try and go in there, thanks for saying 'hi' to me, you guys. i ended up chatting with myself, which is totally the norm for me anyways so felt oddly familiar...

ah, life is difficult for the electronically challenged.

i already know joyce is going to give me a lesson now because she is a co-dependent from hell and knows everything about these things!

good thing, really, i didn't have much to say tonight. going to see dr. jordan for more botox injections tomorrow, tra la, tra la tra F'ing la.

and the saga continues.

p.s. anyone know if superjoyce does OT? in my neverending quest for truth, justice and more medicare coverage i am trying to find a good practitioner to work with my poor little hand which is quite wasted. much like my mind.

Oh when you first log in you automatically go to "The Lounge" it's where most stay to chat since it isn't that busy.

oh I'm cracking up LOL.

well for starters I found out that a lot of stuff looks a bit different on different web browsers = windows IE, mozilla firefox, netscape.

I use the Mozilla Firefox browser- part of why is the instant spell check feature, but it doesn't work in the chat - so you can see how many wrong keys I really hit LOL

so if things aren't exactly where or how I I explain them to be that is why -we are probably using diff browsers.

log in to chat - http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/chat/flashchat.php
then you should see your username on the big screen area, and off to the side where the list of rooms is. "The Lounge" is the main room and the one you go into automatically when you log in.

down near the bottom of the big area should be a smaller rectangle box- that is where you go to type the message and then hit the send or just hit the enter key

then your message should pop up in the big area
{very similar to Instant Messaging set ups}

a good way to learn is go in and play around when it is empty
click on things and just goof around and get to know the settings and such.

then when someone comes in or when a group is there you can ask questions if you need anything else explained. We all have fumbled around at the beginning and you can't break it- if you do get stuck or lost - just log out and then start fresh again.

basically it is set up and ready to use just the way it is - but there are tweaks and settings after you get used to it.

I love that Jo cracks up about stuff I am too stupid to understand. We are lucky to have someone so smart and computer literate!!!

I am so bummed that I missed you guys.
