Nueropathic pain

I was told by my pcp that the headaches I'm having are from neuropathic pain of rsd. Anyone else experience this? It just started this year. Thanks!

Yes I get really bad headaches and they've decided they were from allergies. Even though I told them its from my crps. I don't get headaches with my allergies.

You can absolutey. Ive never gotten repeated headaches before having this. Remeber your nervous system is all inter connected, it can cause all sorts of "WONDERFUL" side issues. Talk with your doctor and see if they can help

Yep, I get headaches frequently now, never used to get the darn things

I don't take many meds, so it's unlikely to be a side-effect, it's just part of the fun little parcel of joy and good fortune that we like to call CRPS.....:D;) it's pretty well-documented actually that CRPS causes all kinds of shenanigans with our systems, and headaches are a part of that. The CRPS makes our brain get into the habit of over-reacting to any pain signals, which makes a simple headache no longer simple.

It sucks the big one, as they say. Hey ho. Onwards and upwards guys, and don't let the b******s grind you down :winky:

I hope you all get something today that makes you smile and forget your pains. Even if it's just seeing the word 'shenanigans' :D and receiving an iHug from a fellow nutter over the internet...

Bram.

My PM doc says my headaches are RSD related. I have gotten migraines since I was a kid, but I can't remember when the daily headaches began. I have had RSD for over 22 1/2 years and honestly cannot remember a day without a headache.

Thanks!

Thanks to All of you for responding. I am relieved to know where the headaches are coming from, but confused about why after 18 years this is happening. But I think I'm lucky it hasn't happened sooner. My rsd had been controlled by meds and keeping active. I suppose the older I get more effects of rsd will be showing up. Thanks again I really appreciate the feedback I get from you guys.

And Bram, you did make me smile. :)
