TOS and breathing problems

Hey: I have a question. I saw a thread about this but could not open the page.

Anyone have difficult breathing? Almost like you can't get a deep breath. After my injury that caused TOS, it took me about 5 or 6 times to finally get a deep breath. I have to sit up and lean forward to get a breath. This would last a few hours then subside. I am wondering if there isn't some sort of phrenic nerve irritation cause it seems like a can't coordinate my breathing when this happens. This is mine line of work and I can't find the answers either!

Of course, the doctors thought it was stress. What a shock!

Now post-operatively, I only have this a few times a week but have other breathing problems caused by the surgery.
