Don't skip meds!

Today I found out the hard way not to skip my meds.
I slept late after staying up almost all the night before. I am guessing that my thinking was out of wack because I not only missed taking my morning dose but forgot to take my noon dose too. By mid-afternoon I was in very severe pain to the point that I could barely move.
Now I'm back home and caught up but now very groggy. I hope I never do that again!
Good night all. zzz

Lol Russell, that's a very hard lesson to learn!! I think we've all done it - I missed my morning dose once, and by mid-afternoon I was getting the sharp electric stab pains again in weird places and just felt horrible. Then it clicked that I hadn't taken my meds and I felt such a fool

Take care and maybe set a reminder alarm on your mobile phone :winky:

Bram.

So much for sleeping in...

I agree! I am to the point where I do set alarms on my phone as I have to take some of my meds every 4 hours or so and I will notice that if I am even off by 30 minutes or so I am causing myself a lot of uneccesary pain!

That's why I'm a fan of taking a 1/2 dose of 24 hr time released meds every 12 hours. If you go over a few hours, you won't flare, and lower doses are more effective because there are no large fluctuations of meds/pain. ;)
