To have a red foot with Peripheral Neuropathy, it gets worst when i lay down. not sure about the circulation as my last test, the doctor said that was fine.

also it does feel irritated when it is red, and a burn like feeling

"Normal" PN may not exist....
 

There are reportedly about 100 different types, and I suspect some of those types themselves have different symptoms. But yes, mine started with a swollen foot that was also red. Other foot followed suit. After a few months the swelling went way down, but they still get red in some areas, blueish in others. (They tested my circulation too--it was fine.) Elevating the feet helped a lot.
