A Heavy Heart

My Great Aunt passed away this morning in her sleep after battling alzheimers for over two years. I just needed to talk because I have a heavy heart right now and would appreciate any prayers for her. Thanks for listening.

I'm sorry about your Great Aunt. :hug:

My Mom passed away from Alzheimer's in 2005. It's so hard because you lose them twice. Once when their mind leaves and then again when their body leaves.

I hope her other family is getting along okay. It's hard because you want their suffering to end but you never want to say goodbye. Remember the good times.
