hope they get the inhaled l-dopa approved in 2015?

missed getting into a local clinical for inhaled l-dopa, i was chicken and when i actually inquired it was filled up.

just thinking out loud but:
one subtle benefit of inhaled l-dopa might be you wouldn't need an agonist anymore? and you could take less l-dopa? as my honeymoon period is over and i wear off (reduced to a shuffle) after every l-dopa dose if i wait too long for the next one, i tend to take more l-dopa than i need and i know a lot of people who add COMTAN, AZILECT and/or an agonist to reduce/eliminate the off times and many also take amantadine . if there was a fast acting l-dopa, and you can feel the OFF approaching, and you could quickly "top off", would that substitute for a pump? take a combination of IR/CR carbidopa/levodopa and use the inhaler when it doesn't kick in at times? being able to get moving quickly when you get out of bed?
you could certainly do more things on the spur of the moment. plus by bypassing the digestive system, you could sure determine if that was a problem with l-dopa absorption.
should have volunteered!!

Was it the Civitas CVT-301 study? They are just finishing up the Phase IIb study. Early talk of very good results which should be seen in first half of 2014. So keep your eye open for a late 2014 recruitment for a multi-center Phase III. Set up an alert on Fox Trial Finder. They filled up the two Phase II studies very quickly.
