Chronic pain
I have Thoracic Outlet Syndrome but the doctor seemed to think my pain was should be less after having surgery over two years ago. I just had ALCAT food and sensitivity blood test. I was shocked by the results. I have sever intolerance to tomatoes, onions, pineapple, sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts, blue dye, and benzoic acid Then there is the moderate list that includes romaine lettuce, cucumbers, apples, paprika, coriander, mango, pumpkin, zucchini squash, chick peas and cotton seed.
Who would ever believe this. I have been a week now taking all these out of my diet and I am feeling better. The theory is that the intolerances cause inflammation in the body and add to the pain. If interested it is by Cell Science Systems 1-800-872-5228. They do have international clients. The test is a little pricey but I think it is worth it if I feel better. |
I actually start a similar diet after Christmas time. Apparently its really good against inflamation. Google translator from french but should be able to understand
After demonstrating the benefits of hypotoxic supply for the treatment of chronic pain in his popular book, "How I overcame the pain and chronic inflammation through diet," Jacqueline Lagacé has published a second book containing tips and income to meet immediate questions from those who wished to follow the diet but did not know "where to start" There is also a good article on webmd website. I wonder if any of your sensitivity relate to anything on the blood type diet?
"Eat right for your blood type.." After reading the book I saw some foods that do give me a bit of trouble so know to avoid them if possible. It is interesting & you might find some foods that are very good or not for your type - http://www.dadamo.com/program.htm his books are in many libraries.. |
Chronic pain and food intolerances
It has been three weeks since I changed my diet. I spoke to the nutritionist about my diet and I had missed a few things that I should be avoiding, but I can already feel a big difference. I still have some pain but the general pain is gone. I have eaten something by mistake and I feel it. I can't believe what a difference the diet makes. After ALCAT sensitivity testing, I am avoiding foods that I had no idea bothered me. Some were my favorite foods and healthy foods. To be pain free or at least less pain I can give up anything.
I am wondering if food intolerances could be responsible for many issues? |
