My Dear internet family,
I am baking a birthday cake for my son...he is 43 tomorrow and then in the breath of one day it will be Christmas.
Before the week gets away from me, I want to extend my faith in love along with the spirit of this holiday to all of you.
This board and YOUR contributions to it have literally been a life line for me.....I was one hot mess when I found this place. It was elation to find shared stories like mine along with so much encouragement that came heartfelt....somebody cared...You never know how you touch others' lives just from telling your story or giving a kind word.
Please keep giving this place a shout out or a heads up or a scr*** U if that is what you are feeling......you just never know.

Warm in CA. Highs in 60s. Doing a big bike ride tomorrow then Xmas Eve with the kids.

Got my 6 year old to climb a 2000 foot mountain last weekend. My quads still hurting from fast descent. Kids can't slow down & I don't really blame em. That boy is tough as an ox!! - the candy at the top helped a bit too.

The pain will be there, but life goes on. Still got a few presents to wrap, but shopping done!
