Issues healing after wisdom tooth extraction

Hi all,
I had 3 wisdom teeth extracted last Tuesday morning under IV sedation, so 6 days ago and the top two are healing quite well, one was just barely still impacted and the incision is hardly even sore and the socket on the other side already feels much smaller and I've been off my pain meds for days now. My worry however, is with my lower right tooth which was still impacted in my jaw and from what I understood in my dopy stupor, quite difficult to remove. I did have a stitch on this side which Im positive was partially attached to my cheek, causing limited mobility and a fair amount of frustration up until yesterday when it finally dissolved.
Now That I'm finally able to move my cheek and feel around some I am even more concerned than I was before because i can see a good amount of ulceration on my cheek and gums if I pull back my swollen cheek. After 6 days should my cheek still be so swollen inside that it is shaped to my existing back molar? I would love to be able to gently brush this back tooth as my gums at the bottom of it are becoming rather angry looking but i cant even comfortably fit a toothbrush back that far even for a moment. Additionally, due to the swelling and ulcers it is quite painful to the touch and I can't even begin to identify what is cheek, where the corner of my mouth is supposed to be, or where the actual incision/socket is. It's all just a sort of swollen red and white cut up mess with tiny sharp black areas that feel like they might be pieces of the stitch embedded in the area, but I'm not entirely sure about that because the stitch was clear/white when I could still identify the tails. I'm beginning to feel like this cant be normal but I don't have any big signs of infection (all swelling is soft to the touch and I feel well overall) and I am home for Christmas over 2 hours away from my dentist which is closed till the new year. At this point I just would love some reassurance that this might be normal or what I can do to speed up my road back to normalcy besides regular salt rinses which I am already doing. I would love any and all input on my situation!
