Hot tubs Avoid with PN

Are hot tubs/Jacuzzi to be avoided with this condition?

I have a new strange sensation when I move my leg -- first started out at just a little strange sensation now feels more like a nerve that zings across the front of my calf when I move my leg when walking It does not even run up and down but across half of my calf in the front near my bone totally strange

I stopped acupuncture after hearing maybe nerve damage can happen since this is high up hoping not from that I only had 2 sessions...

For me, yes. sadly.

My worse symptom is burning, so I no longer enjoy leisure hot tub time, to my sadness. :(

Not necessarily; what hurts one person may feel good to another. That said...

Patient: Dr., it hurts when I do this.

Doctor: Then don't do that.

A corny old joke for sure, but as with most jokes, a modicum of truth. In general, if something huirts, don't do it. If it doesn't, it's probably ok (using common sense).

Not really a good idea for someone with CMT who cannot feel the temperature that well. The same with a hot shower. The feet will really buzz (nerves). It relaxes muscles even more and a CMTer hardly needs that.
