Two years after concussion.
Sometimes I feel like my brain is swollen. Some head pains. Can I start college?
|
Many of us have learned to go on with life despite symptoms that come and go. Learning how to manage life through our times of high symptoms is important. A moderated college life would be best.
|
Do it bit by bit. Don't undertake more courses than you can handle. All colleges should have an accommodation policy for students with special needs. Start slowly. Follow your dreams.
Good luck! |

Try it...see how it goes. Start with one class. My biggest issue was not being able to multi-task and with a very awesome husband, I used this facet of my injury to my advantage because I could focus on one thing (eventually) and that was my class. My class was online so I could choose a time (within reason) that I felt up to doing it. |
