Oxytrol patches?
 

Has anyone tried these new OCT patches? I'm on day 11, but so far am not experiencing any improvement. From what I've read, it takes two weeks for them to start working, but I can't help feeling a little discouraged. I thought that maybe by now, they would work just a little.:(

I've not heard of oxytral patches . What are they supposd to do?

I think maybe it's only for women is because overactive bladder is a female thing...? And now I'm wondering if overactive bladder is different than the problems caused by MS...does anyone know?

OK, now you guys got me to wondering, and BTW, I should know better by now not to speculate because I'm almost always WRONG. Anyway, I found this:

Both. At first the PCP tried to attribute bladder to my age and having my twins birth. I wasn't DXed yet, but I kept insisting it was neurological. And it was. Hard for some to tell difference. I was persistent (or PIA, hard for most doctors to tell difference).

i googled it, and i actually take the pill form of this, called oxybutynin. i use it for bladder incontinence, i used vesicare but the pharmacy changed it out due to high cost

Update - guarded optimism
 

Went out to breakfast, then to Costco and after that a large supermarket. All in all, I was out for about three hours and had to go only once, and that was really just preemptive out of habitual fear. I wasn't counting, but if I had to guess, I'd say I only went about 8-9 times the whole day and night, and none of them were emergencies, which is awesome.

As much as I'd like to think it's helping, I'm hesitant to set myself up for another disappointment. I'll update in a few days in case this might help someone else.
