Tooth extraction site all white

Hello,

I had my bottom tooth removed on thursday and had bone graft put in socket and stitches. I have alot of pain now and my jaw line is swollen and site is all white/yellow. Its the weekend and I cant talk to dentist to see if infected. Could it be pus or part if bone graft? Dentist said it should be a little more painful due to bone graft but its really painful? Please help!!

Hi qweencass,

It would be best to call the oral surgeon first thing monday morning and explain your symptoms as it could be an infection. He will probably want to see you to rule that out.
