Exposed to H1n1 and freaking pit

Hi everyone,
On Thursday of this past week I was exposed to H1N1, I am not currently sick but wonder what I should do if I do come down with this, I have full body SFN and I don't do any vaccines including flu vaccines, I have read people with SFN should get to the Doctor at once if they get the flu, how true is this? Thanks Jan

If I was exposed, I'd up my nutrition , fluids and vitamins , extra vit C, to try to ward it off as best I could.... and hope for the best.

Zinc is also helpful for viruses.

If you are taking Vit D... that will help alot.

Tamiflu is highly controversial, and may not work, but you will see many commercials for it..anyway.

Don't stress over it...the more stress you have the lower your immune system can get.

DH & I both used tamiflu 2 yrs ago.. worked great for both of us..

H1n1

Thanks Jomar and MrsD,
MrsD do you think we with Full body SFSN should get yearly flu shots? I think I know how you will answer but would like an answer anyway, how about a pneumonia vaccine? Thank you so much. Blessings, Jan:grouphug:

I'm going Jo*mar's way, eat lots of leafy greens, with a sensible dressing, which is not easy to come by without making your own. Try just lemon juice. And watch your stress, as I think mrsD said. I haven't heard of the flu advice you suggested. FWIW, I've probably had the flu in the past 10 yrs and it just makes my PN symptoms a bit worse.

How were you exposed it it that you know it was the H1N1 virus? Just curious. Here is a site on it:

I don't know...but I suspect any vaccine now that you have a vaccine injury already.

It is too late for H1N1 vaccine (flu) as it takes at least 2 weeks to
begin to work. (or more). If you are to catch this flu now it would be less than 2 wks to incubate.

There are many upper respiratory viruses that are NOT in the flu vaccine yearly.

There are so many excellent things for the immune system. I like Sambucol. Elderberry syrup.

I am pretty sure that this is a coincidence, but my husband got the flu shot a week before Christmas and developed severe flu symptoms that turned into pneumonia within 24 hours. He was severely ill for two weeks.
I never get the shot as I rarely get the flu and so many things interact badly with CMT it isn't worthwhile.
