Hello, I am new
Hi I am new to the site, I was looking for some support as I have been diag with CRPS. I had a crash about 15 months ago and I have to be honest I am very tired and would love a break I have managed to keep working but people have expectations. So I have been trying my best to put a brave face on it and I am not sure how much longer I can keep doing this.
Any helpful ideas on how to deal with pain would be great ;) Thanks Again |
Hi LBMDDW
Welcome to Neuro talk. A DX of CRPS is scary for anyone. There is a huge forum on this, and you should get many responses. Do you have a Doctor who is actively trying to help you? That is the first thing you need. A doctor needs to be experienced with this disorder in order to help you. If you are just being shoved aside with no intervention, you may want to consider asking on NT for a doctor near where you live. I hope that relief can be found. Wearing a mask to cover up your pain isn't easy, when holding down a job. Have hope that there is some kind of therapy that may benefit you. ginnie:hug::grouphug:

Thanks for the reply, I tend not to bother the GP they are very inaccessable the best of times and work have been fairly supportive in the past but with the current climate it does feel like there is not much much left. :(
