MG and the Liver
Although my chest CT scan with contrast did not reveal any problems with my thymus, my doctor thinks he sees "a small mass" on my liver. Because the first CT scan concentrated on the chest, he order an abdominal CT scan that I will have next Tuesday. This might only be "tequila residue", or that dime I swallowed when I was six years old. :)
Is there any connection between the liver and MG? -Mark- |
Never heard of any connection with the liver. Hope it all checks out.

The Basic Metabolic Panel I did this week showed "stable labs including slight sugar/glucose elevation." The slight surar/glucose migh be a result of the Prednisone I started last week. If there is a problem, it will be caught much earlier due to the first CT scan. -Mark- |
Do you have a positive diagnosis for mg because there is another disease that someone on here told me about that is similar to mg and it can cause liver problems. I am new here and I do not know a lot but when I read about the disease I remember it saying that. its called mitochondrial disease. I do not know everything just trying to help.

I had a mass on my liver. They did a more detailed ct and said it was a hemangioma which is benign. Hopefully yours is fine too. I don't think it was related to any disease, just something people randomly get
