Vitamin D studies - more at start of disease means better outcome
This recent report from the NMSS isn't much of a surprise.
http://www.nationalmssociety.org/new....aspx?nid=8558 But everyone should be taking Vitamin D supplements as soon as they find out they have MS! |
My MS doctor, who I saw for the first time in December, told me to take 4,000 iu vitamin D per day, so at least some MDs are paying attention. I just wish I'd been taking it 10 years ago!

Despite the fact that I take a large amount of D3, my levels are low.
I am going to bring it up at my next neuro visit... |
