Jackass doctors cancelled my surger 9 days out.

Dr Annest felt I had too many other issues and am no longer a good candidate.

I would see another surgeon for a 2nd opinion. Dr. Annest has mixed reviews, you might be better off not doing it with him.

Yes, I will go check out some local doctors. Also made a call to dr. Donahue as he seems to be the favorite.

I have fibromyalgia and had a lot of pain, and it think the improved posture aggrevated my thoracic outlet, caused it to clamp down more. I also have anxiety/depression issues.

Adopting "correct" posture as mandated by a number of therapists - each had different views on posture - definitely aggravated my symptoms. Shoulders down and back immediately caused a flare-up of symptoms in my arms and hands (which makes sense since clavicle down and back will probably cause further compression). One of the PTs I saw who was somewhat helpful in treating symptoms doesn't believe in immediate posture modification for TOS; he says it will strain already aggravated/tight muscles. That said, I found this "point your shoulders" posture suggestion helpful: http://www.freeyourneck.com/blog/?s=...&submit=Search
