looking for symptom explination
I’ve been trying to find answer everywhere – What could cause these movement/jerks? They happen every time I feel comfortable enough to sleep, and happen at the moment of sleep. My anxiety is increasing because I have had these symptoms for a month and a half and also have developed daytime tremors and muscle twitches when sitting still. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Video with symptoms shown below-

Sounds like a hypnic jerk, I get it as I relax before sleep, it's normal - dogs get it too. It can be annoying but is harmless.

check with doc also try lyrica it will relax and at higer doses sedate you
look up meds for restless leg and involuntary muscle movement look them up on drugs dot com and see sides and other info and discuss with doc no matter what the name is you dont have to live with it good luck |
hey sick of being sick, it's mark. good to see you out and about the board helping others today. hope you are feeling better.
as for the main question, I am getting these after a brain injury and the are terrifying and ruin my day. the increase in Neurontin has seemed to be helping for me but it is only day two of the increase. I also get vivid dreams when I wake up to those tremors and twitches. somebody has to find the reason because I will not live with them even if they have to remove the part of the nerves that is causing it |
