knee surgery after TOS surgery

I'm having TOS surgery in March, which will put me out of work for 3 months. I would like to see if I can have a knee surgery during this time that I've been needing to have so I can combine the time off work. The knee surgery isn't important as the TOS so it can wait. Do you think it would be too much to do that so close together? I'm thinking crutches might be an issue for a few days and of course PT for the knee on top of PT for TOS surgery. Thoughts?

I wouldn't do it.

Muscle imbalance seems to be one of the root causes of TOS. If you have a knee surgery, you could start overcompensating on one side of your body and trigger a chain reaction.

Don't mess around.

Keep the variables constant and get over TOS.

I believe you should go ahead with the TOS surgery. Allow your body to heal from that surgery, and then have your knee surgery. U need to see how u are going to react to the TOS surgery, and how u can tolerate the pain. Using crutches and having a TOS surgery is not a good mix. Most TOS surgery are about 3 to a year recovery, depending the type of TOS surgery u are having. Keep us updated on your decision, and I'm praying for you.

God bless
