Early Saturday morning here. Humid as, but I won't talk about hot weather around here. ;)

It's still dark in my house although the sun is coming up. I just let the mad cat outside. She'll probably want to come back inside in 2 minutes and then go outside again 2 minutes after that.

I hope everyone we know is safe and well in all the bitter cold and stormy weather in the US of A.

How are you doing over there, Wren.

I hope your computer is working fine again now.

Hi wren, hi Lara...just got home from errands and fixed lunch. Horrendous winds here and I'm keeping an eye on our many pine trees that are out there swaying. It's been an interesting winter $$ wise, first the split rail fence was "taken" down by a young driver that was driving too fast, then we lost a huge pine tree in the ice storm, then we had to get a new boiler, then yesterday our flat roof, over the kitchen and downstairs bath started leaking so hard it looked like it was raining in our kitchen.

I refused to let Mr.Alffe climb up on that roof at his age, so we called our "handyman" and he came and shoveled two feet of snow off it. I don't know what that is going to cost us but it had to get done. Mr.Alffe is making a few noises about moving to an apartment...I hope he'll be happy in it. *grin

And I just hesitated to share all that good news here. *grin :grouphug:
