25 y/o male with second concussion. Have questions

So on Monday I hit my head at work on a metal rack. Not hard, enough to stop and rub and not think anything of it. The next day towards the evening I started to develop nausea, headaches and dizziness so I went to the ER and had an examination and a CT scan which everything was normal. Some of the symptoms have went away but I'm still having pain along the area where I hit and pain behind my right eye. The area I hit was on the top right towards the back. This is my second concussion as I had one nine months ago. Just looking for some insight as what to do. I'm a hypochondriac so that doesn't help my situation of worrying and stressing.

masond,

You are very early in your recovery. I suggest you just take it easy for a few weeks. Limit over-stimulation to give your brain a break. Avoid worrying about it. That just makes it worse by raising your stress and anxiety levels.

Thanks for the reply. I keep worrying thinking I need a second ct scan. But I didn't hit my head that hard. I woke up today feeling alright. After awhile of being up and moving around I started to feel dizzy/nauseous. I have a pain near my temple and around my ear and jaw when I chew or move my jaw around.

Masond,

As a self-described hypochondriac, I suggest you stay away from CT Scans. They give the patient a very high dose of radiation. One rarely needs a CT Scan except to rule out serious conditions when severe symptoms indicate it. Your symptoms are not severe. The ER likely did it as a precaution only.
