Stink Eye
 

My kittys' sitter tells me that Rose doesn't like her. She insisted that she keeps giving her the stink-eye. I told her I wasn't sure what the stink-eye is, so she sent me this picture that she took today when she visited them.

I used to tell my kids I was giving them the hairy eyeball. They knew I meant business and they better behave themselves. That is one unique cat.

Rose is such a character. She really is a grumpy kitty and she's the boss. The other two kitties (litter mates, age 5) grew up with an adult Rose (who is 14 I think), so they just think she owns the place, and go along with her grumpy ways.

She has quite a few vocalizations with which she expresses herself. Rose has never been known to suffer indignities in silence.

But she is all snuggles with Gerry and me. In fact, if she is in cuddle mode, she won't take no for and answer, and will complain loudly if she wasn't finished cuddling when you decided to move on.
