Introduction

Hi everyone! I'm Michelle. I'm from Indianapolis, IN. Extremely new to neuro disorders or the like. I have BPPV. Just diagnosed yesterday and I'm quite afraid. Hopefully I can find support here.

Hi Michelle,
Good to meet you.

Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups! :Wave-Hello:

I'm not really sure where to suggest you post regarding your problems with BPPV. I do know that some of the potential treatments for this symptoms of this condition have been discussed by members of the Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Concussion Syndrome Forum

It might be worthwhile to do a Forum Search there or even a full Search of the NT forums. If you need any help with navigating the forums just post here and someone will help you out.

Hello Michelle!

Welcome to NT!

There is no lack of support here at NT! Make yourself right at home, look through the forums and post wherever you feel inclined.
Lara makes a good suggestion in saying to try the 'search' feature. Type in key words and it'll bring up posts of previous discussions. The search feature is toward the top of the screen in the bar that runs across.

Meanwhile I'm sure you'll get good feedback and understanding.
It's so nice to be able to come here to reach out to others who know what it's like to face frustrating conditions.
You are not alone by any means....

Caring,
Rae

Post concussion afraid & alone

Hey everyone,I'm completely new to this forum and I don't have a clue how to use it so excuse me if I'm posting in the wrong place,9 weeks ago I was in the wrong place at the wrong time & got assaulted, I fell & hit my head on the concrete floor & my life has completely changed.

Ever since then iv been dizzy, headache ,brain fog & fatigue, constant stiff neck & back,iv had 2 ct scans which were clear..thank god!im from Ireland & iv been to my local gp,s about 10 times & they seem to be so ignorant towards pcs,

They almost make me feel as if the symptoms aren't real but I can assure you they are, they tried to give me Prozac but I refused due to the side affects iv read about,

Iv just found out I'm going to be a daddy for the 1st time & shudder be the happiest iv ever been, but this pcs is hanging over me like a dark cloud,if any 1 could help me in any way I would be forever great full,I just feel as if no one understands until they are in this situation.i used to work out 5 days a week & can't now & that's really getting me down as well :(:(

Thank you to everyone...Ricky
