Prolia experiences?
Hi,
My Mom is almost 91 yrs old and her doctor suggested injections of Prolia for her osteoporosis. The side effects are beyond frightening. I am not comfortable letting her have it. She used to take Fosamax and Evista but I guess after decades of taking it, they have you stop for awhile. She has a new doc now who wants the Prolia. What do you all take for Osteoporosis or recommend whether it is prescription or nartural? thank you, diandra |
Side effects lists are always scary.
Her doc is likely weighing the chance of those side effects occurring against the risks if she breaks a bone at her age & other conditions—IOW, a numbers game.
