homeopathy and neuropathic pain

Hi Everyone, Just it confirmed today that my neuropathic pain in my jaw is due to a hypersensitive nerve arising from an impacted wisdom tooth I had extracted a long time ago. Has anyone had any success with Homeopathy.

Thanks

Nick

I use it when I get dental work done to minimize the trauma. I use arnica before and after for tissue trauma. If I have lingering pain or nerve issues, then I use hypercum.

Hi Marlene , What potency of Arnica and hypericum do you use and how often ?

Thanks

Nick

I generally use the 30c potency. Since this a long standing problem, I would suggest starting with the arnica, 4 or 5 pellets 3X/day for the first few days. Then switch to the hypericum, 3x/day. You may need to keep this up for few weeks.

If at anytime you start having any improvement, you can back off. If it improves but levels off, you may want to try a 200c dose.

The key in homeopathy is finding the exact remedy and these may not be the ones you need. But they are strongly indicated and may work.
