Nerve pain without neuropathy
I have suffered from nerve pain for 4 years now. It is mainly in abdomen, but it does cause my legs to tingle. Also, my left upper arm gets sore.
Neurological MD says no to neuropathy. He also says no to MS. Anyone know of diseases with widespread nerve pain? |

Have you been imagined--
--for problems with nerve compression in the thoracic and lumbar spine?
The symptoms of erroneous nerve sensation can be caused, in the same parts of the body, both by problems with the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and problems in the peripheral nerves (all the ones NOT in the brain and spinal cord. Certainly systemic conditions can result in peripheral neuropathy, but so can more localized conditions such as compression. What kind of testing have you had to this point? The search for causes is often long, expensive, and very much process of elimination, but a doctor should be making such statements based on something. |

I just found 2 very interesting videos on Chronic Pain & Fibromyalgia and it could give you some insite as to what you are experiencing....I have had ongoing problems which are a result of surgical trauma, complications,MRSA and also was tested positive for Mononucleosis, 6 weeks post surgery...which I was told has likely led to Fibromyalgia. Currently looking for the best Doctor for the best treatment. The first video is a segment on Dr. Oz, dated 7/23/2013 on Fibromyalgia. The second video is a Discovery Health segment titled Pain Matters, I believe is from late 2013. Both are very interesting and informative.......and for those that do not experience chronic pain, an absolute must see!!! chloecasey |
