how much salt in the salt water rinse ?

There are different opinions of how much salt needs to be added to the rinsing water, just a pinch, 1/2 teaspoon or even a teaspoon to 8 oz water ? After my extraction I was doing the 1/2 teaspoon, then Bryanna said just a pinch so now I'm doing that, but still confused.

nyuszisie,

It depends on the size of the glass and how much water is in it. If you use a bathroom size cup just add a pinch or two of salt. The idea is not to overuse the salt because salt can be irritating to the gum tissue. The idea is to use just enough to be therapeutic and cleansing.
